Self-Portraits

Our theme for the last two weeks has been "My Body". We have been learning all the different parts of our bodies. We had great fun looking in the mirrors and examining our eyes and facial features. We talked about all the different shapes we could see on our faces. We then drew some self portraits. Don't we look lovely!!

Aistear

We have been very busy buying and selling in our class shop this week during Aistear. We wrote out our shopping lists and filled up our baskets. The shop keeper scanned all the items in our baskets and we went home to make some lovely dinners.

We are learning about food that helps us to grow big and strong. We are very good at bring healthy lunches to school.

 Here we are busy building a small town with lots of different types of shops!

School Garden

Múinteoir Karmel brought us out to harvest some of the vegetables growing in the school garden today. She explained how she planted the seeds in Spring and that the vegetables were now ready to eat. We got to dig up some potatoes, carrots, turnip, lettuce and beans. It was so much fun.

Maths Games

We are very busy matching and sorting in Junior Infants this week. 

Friendship Week

This week is Friendship Week. We have been having lots of fun getting to know all our friends in Junior Infants. We have been very busy sharing our toys and working together.
